Ford Mercury Grey for the panel and possibly Ford Stratos Silver for the knobs and surround I think from memory. Most silvers are close to each other although there's still probably 100 shades!
I probably mentioned the exact silver on here about 10 years ago when I did the thing up
Oh, and the cases are done in Mercury Grey too.

I'm wondering if one of these graphics companies that do the radio decals would do one in the same colour? They may have already researched which shade is best. Might be worth an emaillambrettadave wrote: ↑24 Jun 2023, 11:33 I am trying to recreate the colours on my connex panel and and yours seamed close as you can see mine is heavily worn

UPDATE.....Well all I had to do was fit a new bulb in the signal meter spray the controls with servisol and the mic and give her a good clean up, spent a couple of evenings on mid band am really enjoyed it......she is staying standard oh and the original owner operator handle was the Graduate as it was on the side of the mic in the old plastic embossing tape that we used to use on our good buddy badges which amused me.Whisky1 wrote: ↑16 Jun 2023, 12:26 Picked up a chaser mc5000 off fleabay at a reasonable price, looks ok will see when it comes.....had two back in the day and I think I will add it to my collection once I've put it through quality control and gave it a bath. Question is do I FM it or leave it box standard
