broadsword antennas
Just bought a slim jim antenna tuned for civil/military bands from BROADSWORD ANTENNAS and it is the best antenna I have ever had up for these bands and not too bad on other bands .

HI CHRIS the antennas I have tried -white stick x30 / a base dicone da600 I even tried making the sleeved dipole you said but I can tell you this slim jim which is tuned for the air bands civil and military is in my location is much better I find ,from george

Cant see a slim jim on ebay or his facebook page, just the dipole he makes with 2.5mm stripped twin and earth.

Yes that's the one , It works for me ok mounted on a 30ft fibraglass pole that's all I can say , from George .
