Not near a radio myself at the moment, but the lifeboat is out in the Cramond area and there's a helicopter hovering overhead with searchlight, so it looks like something's going on.

South Queensferry lifeboat, coastguard frequency but not sure if heli was coastguard or "POLICE-51". Have seen Coastguard S92 doing rescue missions at Arthur's Seat on occasions, it has a reasonably good night sun type beam.

Hard to tell in the dark, but to me it looked bigger than the police helicopter so probably was coastguard. This will be old news to you guys, but I've just discovered that Queensferry lifeboat actually tweet every time they go on a callout, so worth keeping an eye on that.
