If I could complete off-ebay, I would. I begrudge giving them their extortionate fee!

Yep totally agrea, cant remember the last time I sold something on there due to the stupidly high fees , buy all the time off there and like you would prefer to buy off ebay in the majority off times which would obviously help both sides.

Picked this up from Jaycee Electronics the other day.
I already have one but couldn't resist making one last purchase before they closed their doors.
Good condition with built in VHF converter.
They tend to run a bit hot when using the built in AC Supply so like my other R5000, this will receive the DC conversion.

Thanks m8. This is the second one I own and both working well. I have a TS-440S that I'm seriously thinking about selling but the three look good lined up beside each other so maybe not!

Good stuff m8. The R2000 is amazing on AM. Tuning on SSB is a bit quirky but still a good sounding radio. Owned one for several years but mainly used it to listen on AM.
Another bargain! I never seem to see these.
Enjoy

Took a fancy to this. Arrived on Thursday but only just powered it up. Receives very well and power output as advertised.

Thanks. It's built very well. These mini radios use the entire casing as the heatsink. This one has a temperature controlled fan on the back that comes on when required so at least it's not whizzing away all the time.
