He never asked how much he paid for it .

Ive heard people say 'you got that for a good price' regarding past beebay sales on here. Im sure he just wanted to know if he got it for a good price or not .
And have some contructive help from the TM1 brotherhood .

In my opininion 13,50 for a radio that works well thats good and yes there might be a bit of meat on the bone if he chooses to sell .
Sellers can list high and look for the meet in the middle .

Someone on here selling something the other day . I pm asking how much and i was told to make an offer .
That didnt answer my question so i never replied further .
At least this guy puts a price and dont mess about asking for 'sensible offers'
Take it or leave it . Make an offer .

If it dont float yr boat move on and let him do business his way .

Remember :he asked what it is worth . He never told you what is worth .

All posts in the TM1 for sale section must have a price, that's a board rule and weety polices it aggressively to his credit.

What if he did only pay £13.50 for it whats that got to do with anything, I know people on here who have paid next to nothing for good radios [Mk2 148s, Lincolns etc] and then put them on ebay and got heck of alot more for it and no one says anything about that, If they make a little on something then good on them, If you have no interest in said radio or if you dont want it for £30 or even £13.50 then dont worry about it and move on.

Indeed. Why should you sell something for less than the going rate because you got it for a good price in the first place?

If business worked like that then the whole economy would be much more messed up than it already is.

I'm guilty of this. A certain Jentec MK4 I got off Gumtree for £100. After owning/using it for a week I decided the Jentec reputation was all held within the myth. It worked no better (and I'd go as far as saying it worked less well) than a standard 148. I put it on eBay as an auction and it found its price.

I did the same with a Cobra 200 I got off Gumtree for £50, although I did own that for around 18 months. Lovely radio which I only parted with to fund the purchase of a certain Cobra 148.

I'm sure many of us have done this in the past, and will do in the future. But I think people are suspicious of the Wagner because of the activities of it's owner. Deleting ads, sending unwarranted PM's pushing its sale...

People will wonder.
