Amateur radio clubs around the country will be starting short training courses in September to help people get their licence.

The Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) will be holding their 32nd Foundation training course starting Thursday, September 3.
The course, to be held at Danbury Village Hall, is six Thursday evenings of practical and theory, but the view from previous course attendees, is that it's not just boring theory, but a whole load of fun as well.
