Yeah my radio could do with a tweak after replacing all the caps but I need a sig gen first oh and a new DVM not to woried about the FM side or the BFO so dont need a scope

a wild stab in the dark i reckon it is PBS news (china) and the sonar you are hearing are the time pips, :D

oh and for the people who like correcting granmar i put nit and not not, because i like it that way
