Audacity does that. Free, open source and safe.

Used this for many years, excellent bit software considering its 14/15 years old, very easy to use even time stamps for you

Re: Sound activated recording software?
I recently tried the trial of RecAll-PRO and have to say it's easy and has what I need. Unfortunately it's not cheap and maybe I'll let it go after the trial.

On a Mac you have Audio Hijack Pro which does this really well...

Re: Sound activated recording software?
Is that for Windows? Surely it can't even work with XP, let alone Vista/7/8 - the Windows audio driver model has completely changed since the year 2000... twice!grenned wrote:Used this for many years, excellent bit software considering its 14/15 years old, very easy to use even time stamps for you
