Advice on a new mic please!

Post by smokingkills »

I have a Superstar CRT9900 aka Anytone 6666.

The microphone is playing up, i've taken a look on the CRT website for a replacement but cant find anything.

Im not bothered if it doesnt have the up and down frequency buttons, so my question is can anyone direct me to a mic that will work with my radio.

Many thanks for any help.

Rf cr 577 sound good, but a cheap coffin mic will work fine if you turn up the mic gain, did on my Anytone 5555 v5 anyway.
Plenty are talking worldwide on 27.555 usb,
Some are too far up their own @rse to admit it,
Many happen to know otherwise dx-ing test free,
Showing a complete lack of respect for the law.

Not used one but read and viewed plenty of reviews, they are compared to the astatic tear drop (not sure that they are as good) but they do get decent right ups......RF Limited CR-577.

Thumbs up for the RF CR-577, sounds just as good as the Astatic Teardrop but less dough...also use an Astatic Road Devil, another good mic.
