Fr hf listening with the mvt7100 am i best using a wire antenna setup ?

Hi there nice to hear others are still using the old yupiteru mvt7100 im using a half size g5rv running through a little mfj short wave tuner works a treat i love using my 7100 first sw scanner i purchased it 9 years ago never let me down and i wouldnt replace it sensitivity is very good but i have to use the 10db attenuator now and again you will have to try different wire antennas but a small atu is a godsend happy listening best 73.
