Notts Radio Comms DMR

Interesting licence addition here. This is the operator that runs the busy Band 3 system from Dorket Head in Nottingham and Sutton in Ashfield.
New licence for these at Dorket Head:
162.7250
165.4125
162.3125
162.8000
...and mixed in with their Band 3 licence....
162.1750 CC1
162.5750 CC2
163.3375 CC3
That's quite some capacity they've got there when you think of each channel as two talk slots. I imagine they are phasing out their Band 3 in favour of DMR.

getting to point now where mid band is higher use than high band, hope they give us some of 140/150 band

Ofcom put out a consultation a few years ago to gauge opinion on what to do with the ex Police spectrum but not seen any response since!
Almost no use of 143/155MHz since Fire switched off their VHF Links in 2010. Surprised that the 451-452 ex Police UHF spectrum isn't being used much either, especially given congestion in cities.

Another development here, getting DMR data on 183.0625.
I know Hytera were developing Band 3 DMR radios, but it still seems an odd move.

Yes and they want to reshuffle uhf 2 so what better time than now they could use those unsed freqs to move or park users.
