g'day all who would think that ofcom work at 1 am on a sunday morning...?

i thought they only worked during weekday working hours..?

anyone have further info

If it's a serious interference issue, they could be out working at any hour of the day.

they work whenever they are getting paid..!!

if that means the local yob abusing the local security companies, or some kid messing with the air traffic, or other serious interference they can be out at all hours..!!

...but if you're an unlicensed spectrum user, say an SWL, suffering PLT QRM, then they'll all be in bed!

even if you are licenced and suffering PLT they dont do anything either i have PLT device about 5 doors away

they came
they saw
they went away saying they cant do anything about them..!

so you are not alone

so you are not alone

you need to be able to interfere with the PLT, maybe a couple of hundred watts to a wire di-pole that makes the net lag out or disrupts there internet enough for them, to give it up as crap..!!

lol.... yea i thought just the same to be honest maybe a few hundred watts would interfere with it enough but i was told it wasnt guaranteed..!
