srp2000 Anybody know where you can buy them and roughly how much?
If i bought one would i be able to recieve police conversations or are they linked to each other to prevent this?

have a frequency but will not work to parkie handsets - 166.250

You can buy them but the rarely come on ebay and when they do it could be a sting or they go for mega bucks.
If you bought one via that process you wont be able to listen to them as oviosly the person probably tried.
If you found/stole a police radio you could probably listen for a few hours maybe until they lock it out or find your location via the gps inside the radio.
mth800's (the current radio most forces use) sometimes go on ebay/the net for alot of money.
