The above frequency is for decoding the data sent to the ambulances giving details of incidents etc. It is done using a program called pocsag (thread on here about it but couldnt find it sorry)

It's possible that West Mids may use the same freq as (amongst other pager data) I get info on ambulances for Southampton, London, Brighton aswell as others.

I narrow down to just Nottingham though using search text filter.

I will give it ago, see if I can pick up anything, not done anything like this before. Where abouts on the spectrum would I find pagers?

I am getting " UNKNOWN SYNC HEADER : B368 A6C6 AAAA 4C97 " on that freq

It's all about getting the sound settings correct. If your using speaker out try adjusting the volume until the needle in the right corner of screen goes across to the right.

If you go to filters on top and then in text filter put an area (e.g. Stoke) any messge containing that word will appear in bottom thats what i do for Nottingham

forgot to add Derbyshire Fire and rescue also on 153.325 Flex with FED callsigns.

West Midlands Ambulance may have moved over to Airwave and/or are still using Terrafix.
