Dose this mod bypass some of the filtering and and make the Cobra 148 more sensative, IE less def . The 2 cobra 148 that i have owned were stone def and needed a preamp to hear anyone out of town, Dont no if this is normal for the cobra or i may have had 2 bad ones.
