South wales mobile listening spots

Here are a few of mine, feel free to add more :)

51.716003,-3.558161 above Righos

51.697985,-3.799039 Gilfach Road above Neath, looking out over Swansea and Port Talbot

51.673767,-3.749938 Above Tonna on the old roman road

Would be interested in some around the Valleys, Merthyr and Rhondda :)

Wentwood near caerwent (although heavilly overgrown with trees now)
Foxhunters carpark near blaenavon (much less home office QRM these days due to TETRA)
the ridgeway in Newport
Caerphilly mountain

dont have GPS co-ords presently

Fez has found a good spot its in the black mountains and is 500masl :D

In Machen opposite the Fwrrwm Ishta pub is Ty Canol Lane. Follow that to the top and you end up on top of Bedwas tips.

This was a very popular spot for the CBers in the 80's. On a clear day Somerset is visible and also the two Seven crossings can be seen in the distance.

Elevation is over 300 metres asl
