Looking at that map, I may need a large tower, and a small linear to reach my nearest 'neighbour'.
Say, about 200ft and about 200W looks about right.

There is probably a few users around you who are not on the map yet, i know thats the case around here.
I never knew there was anyone on here close enough to me until the other day and made contact with another TM1 member over about 4 miles using 0.5w and audio was coming in perfect so i was pretty happy with that.
