Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what cable is needed to connect the MT-5050 to a Starcom 1 Advance ? Starcom say they don't know Intek. Is it the same connections as Kenwood?
Thanks for any help. I'm a complete novice at this

The 5050 uses a 'standard' connection, which looks the same as a Kenwood to me, but I guess it must be wired differently.

Thanks BK
I'LL try a kenwood lead and see what happens.
Hope I don't kill the whole system.

I have an Intek mt-5050. I bought it a few years ago from Rocket Radio via E bay. It works great on PMR (446 mhz).
If anyone has any queries; they may be able to help.

Not Kenwood no, The Intek 5050 is standard Icom wired. (TX/RX pins are reversed on Kenwood)
Starcom part number for standard Icom wiring is CAB-02
If you had an Autocom then it would be part number 2374 (right angled plug) or 2363 (straight plug)
Edit: Just noticed how old the question is in this topic, never mind! hopefully this information may be of use to someone else.
