RadioActive (haven't seen it for a while) Shortwave Magazine (SWM) or Ham Radio Today.

Thats because Radio User is a combination of all three of these no longer published magazines.Andrew wrote:RadioActive (haven't seen it for a while) Shortwave Magazine (SWM) or Ham Radio Today.
There is also Practical Wireless which is more Ham orientated but still interesting.
Both these magazines are over priced and there is a great deal of adverts,I used to subscribe to them both but now I have a quick browse at the contents then decide if to buy or not.
These magazines are not available everywhere but Smiths branches do have them.

In my home town the only places that really sell magazines are Asda and Tesco. W.H. Smith's pulled out of Irvine a few years ago. It's been ages since I had a good look through what magazines are available, mainly because whatever information I need is generally on the internet. I didn't realish the magazines I mentioned were now gone or merged. It was RadioActive that I used to buy.

Unfortantly I have never seen these magazines in Tesco or Asda but you may be able to order them from a local papershop?
