For many years I have listened to the Lancashire snow gritters on low band 87.2000 and 87.1875 MHz.
Central South (West Lancs, Chorley, Preston) is on 87.2000 MHz
East (Burnley, Pendle) is on 87.1875 MHz
However, this year I have heard nothing even though the roads are being gritted
Have the gritters changed frequency (High Band VHF??) or are they now using mobile phones?
Any ideas?
Thanks
