Hello
I'm Neil located in the UK, east midlands.
I don't transmit much but I'm trying to change that and fight the mic panic.
My soldering iron is always hot, I'm always working on some project or gadget.
Currenlty trying to learn morse code.

Re: Hi I'm new here
Hi to you DX Digger and thanks for asking.
I recently got interested in satellites due to a you tube channel called 'Save it for parts' so I'm focusing on projects relating to that at the moment.
These are the things I'm currently trying to finish.
Satellite antenna positioner tracker, a joint project with my son.
Tape measure yagis for 2M and 70cm.
Diplexer / duplexer for above yagis, (PCBs arrived today).
Home made internal battery pack for the FT897.
Transistor curve tracer from a design on Instructables website.
Morse Magic CW reader from bought pcb.
3D printed battery box for the FT290_mk2
Yes I'm a 3D printing nut too most, of the above need 3D Printed parts.
Other things on the back burner for now include.
McHf, nearly finished, interrupted by house move two years ago.
MCT, Australian 40M kit Txcvr, again nearly finished.
Also built a USDX was working great but I let the magic smoke out when I plugged the LPF in the wrong way ,so that needs fixing sometime.
Rockmite kit, finished and working but my CW isn't good enough yet.
If there is any interest in anything I can make a thread about it.
BTW I've had mic panic for about 30 years now, I've had the odd QSO when feeling brave but it it never really went away.
All the best mate.
Neil
