I know that none of this is likely to happen but its nice to dream about what we could have on PMR446.
So we now have 16 channels and your allowed a removable antenna as long as the ERP power does not exceed 500mw
What I'd like to see on PMR446 is a weather channel which could be broadcast through a repeater with a pre recorded message being played back in a loop about any weather warnings and generally how the weather will be on the day which could be put on channel 9.I also like to see Ofcom drop the 500mw rule to 5watts. I think 5watts is fair or at least 4watts.
What would you like to see on PMR446?
Edit: I forgot to say I'd like to see some channels separated from analog for digital so that theres some kinda order with the channels.
