You can use this site to check forecasts of tropospheric ducting so you can see when there should be decent lift on vhf/uhf like there was the past couple nights.

Yes, this is a great site. I've been visiting this one for a few years now and it seems to be reliable. It looks like we could experience some more tropo on Friday although I don't think it will be as intense as the lift on Mon/Tuesday.
