I've been eyeing your other amp, but seeing as I don't use the radio as it is and there's no one on worth talking to anyway, I can't justify spending that amount. Otherwise I'd have possibly made an offer.
Now if you'd have had a mint condition Fidelity Homebase....

Hi again, exactly why i spend as little as possible & bag the bargains, very few local people on now worth talking to now-a-days,but i much prefer to speak to foreign stations (when conditions allow) .The Collector wrote: ↑18 May 2019, 10:21 I've been eyeing your other amp, but seeing as I don't use the radio as it is and there's no one on worth talking to anyway, I can't justify spending that amount. Well, to console myself with the fact that I can't afford your amp, I've just won a rare but non-working Nentone 3-channel UKFM handheld to have a play with for £4.20. Whoopie doo

Well the above "not working" handheld worked perfectly once squirted with a bit of switch cleaner
...and just bought this Apollo 100watt max amplifier for a tenner plus postage to see if it'll work:

It was certainly worth a punt for a tenner Shaun.
The advertised as "working" stuff I've bought lately hasn't worked properly and the stuff advertised as "non-working" has, so if it carries on like it has been, this amp' will work perfectly!

Ah...the 4 mode version. How much did that end at? I think it was about £70 when I last saw it.

That's not too bad then. Thought it might have been the one that's on ebay (found it - at the moment at £71 plus postage).

Not much in the way of rare 27/81 stuff coming up, so thought I'd branch off a bit:
