I've never seen chrome buttons that size for the Adams . They're smaller than the ones in the middle . Anyway , I may have to put something on the CH9/19 switches (+5/10/15khz ?) as I may need to use them for the Maurer module . Can't remember how I did it last time . I'll recap it as well . Hopefully I'll keep this one .....
Hi all, long time no post ;-) always like Adams chat. I looked for the smaller chrome push buttons but never did find them. Played around with silver and black though.

Hi Stronty. Great to see you stepping onboard the TM1 barge again.

I must say I prefer the all black appearance of your Adams. The silver and black combo doesn't do it for me. Looks mismatched.

Hi Dougie ! How you doing m8 ?

I'm talking to Mr Maurer at the moment . He's trying to entice me to go down his counter road .

I'm still thinking about it . Saying that I won't be touching the facia/decal except for maybe a sticker , as I'm crap at that kinda stuff .

Ohhhhhh! that's nice, I like that frequency readout Paul. If you don't mind me asking what is his rate these days for something like that? I check in to the forum fairly frequently and have meant to try and contribute more but work has me so much these days  Most of my kit is in storage up in polo mint city these days Paul

I almost crave for the sound of that Adams in the picture but about the only way would be to get it mobile but that's a whole other saga.....

Having a look on http://funkservice.at as i write but don't see anything of that ilk.

If you remember I got very close to getting one of the CRT counters working on the Adam's with the 7.8 mod to the counter (jumper 2 pads) but could never get it just right. It just so happened around then is when my interests were drawn elsewhere so never completed.

Keep us posted if you go down that route with the counter.

Hi Dougie .

Yeah . I do remember the counter saga :) I never bothered wiring mine up to a counter . Saying that this conversion looks quite nice . He hasn't told me the price for the full kit yet . He's going to get back to me tomorrow . Saying that , I'm not expecting it to be cheap . I'm guessing around €100 , but I'll let you know once I know . I've uploaded another couple of images . The only bit I'm not happy with is the "cutting" parts . Anyway . We'll wait and see .

Price is €65 , without the red plastic over . A bit more with it . I'm waiting till he has the covers , and I'll buy one .

The add on board is most likely the UK40 and maybe another band or two. DX on 26Mhz was still popular back in 1998 when the prom was fitted. There'll most likely be a 10Khz shift on one of the switches too.

I noticed it's a very early MK2 with the AA PCB, so far more uncommon than the later AB variant.
