does anyone know if this new software receiver will eventually receive tetra? {bnghd}

Nobody knows as Uniden has not mentioned anything about TETRA or a European version.

Tetra DMO or TMO, which one are you after ?

TMO is Trunked Mode Operation TETRA
DMO is Direct Mode Operation TETRA
Both are TETRA. If it helps, think of TMO as repeater mode for TETRA, DMO as direct/simplex mode for TETRA (.....though it's not quite all as simple as this as TETRA is in many ways more like a terminal on a network).
