4 Frequency
5 Frequency Offset
6 Beat frequency Oscilator
7
8 & 9 It’s the adjustment of CTCSS board
10
11
12
13 Signal Frequency Recieve
14 Auto Squelch
15 This is the signal meter adjustment. (Also adjustable in programming software) Dealer

Every single radio has a different amount in the menu as all radios made different and not identical. Play here at your peril

Thanks for the info Simon, do we know if there is a service manual for this radio when I got this radio it wasn't working correctly all the service menu had been altered and in am mode it would kill my power supply I turned am mod and this stopped it from tripping the power supply but there is still a problem in am mode as it transmits this is an eBay buy that I would like to get it going, I have put all service settings back to standard everything working except am mode and do we know what op3 is on underside of PCB same as op1 and op2 looks like you can link it for a third option, any info on a schematic or service manual would be greatly appreciated

I have a question about the service menu

Normally it is so that you can set LSB and USB - FM BFO separately see (Maas DX5000) as this looks at the 9900?
4-5 and 6 .... What changes with menu item 4 exactly?

At menu point 5, the offset is set here for LSB and USB equally, I'm here as the separation of the individual operating modes from!

With menu item 6, I can do something but with 4 and 5 as missing more background information, this can anyone describe in more detail here how to sync LSB and USB in frequency separately.

Hi Guys!

I'm using here an Anytone AT-5555N, I find it very nice rig and has wide good looking display :)
which I also made lots of DX contact within Asia, Oceania and some EU stations on a 30w PEP when having very good propagation
with only a 5/8 vertical antenna.

I just happen to play around with settings.
Below is what i have observe and currently using. (the rest except below are not changed)

10 SUL36 0858
11 SUL01 0010
12 SFA36 0918
13 SFR01 0016

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

10 SUL36 -- 11 SUL01 => seems to be SQuelch adjustment for USB/LSB mode..

**Note: SQ knob indicates (SQL 36) at full clockwise.

SUL36/SFA36 - set limits of SQ knob towards full position.
SUL01/SFA01 - set limits of SQ knob towards minimum level (counterclockwise) position.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.) when original settings for SUL36/SUL01 is used, my SQ knob set to SQL 21 to close the squlech.
RX S-meter is on S7 (RFgain knob full).

2.) when i change the settings for SUL36 to 0858, my SQ knob set to SQL 14 before it closes the squlech.
RX S-meter went down to S5 (RFgain knob full).

***Same goes below for AM/FM SQuelch. When I set SFA36 to 0918.
12 SFA36
13 SFR01

Not sure if you guys happen to check it on your rig if the variations are same as what I have observed.
Appreciate your thoughts and comments. Thanks!
Cheers and 73!
