no just use a red dymo, it'll make it look more authenic,
spending money on laser etching and letrasett won't make it look any better :)

might engrave when i stop changing it , the signal meters new lot bigger than last one, tone been reinstated counter to go in yet and someones mentioned bigger channel led so not time to engrave yet

Your getting there Mark, I'd use a green channel LED the same as the ones in a Jumbo available from Rapid electronics.
I have red LED's for the Jumbo you can have one just so you can work out the wiring till you get the right colour you need.

Dont think theres any offset capabilities on that for SSB though....
