If you use it for UHF you will need good cable i would recommend westflex at around £1.80 per meter
but dont forget that antenna is very directional so you will lose signal from anywhere other than where it is pointing at. And it will be much worse than a dipole fron the side and back of it.
For listening only it is a waste of time unless you use good coaxe and point it at what you want to listen to.
