Long Distance Copy

Post by vfr »

Hi
I was at Loch Lomand at the weekend and on the Sunday dedicded to go up Ben Lomand.
I had a XtremeTalk and a Kenwood Proline. On the way up I manged to to talk to a chap who was moble on the M74 near Glasgow. I also got someone in a car park in Peeebles, also a good conversation with a guy in Carluke. I also got someone on top of Ben Ledi and all the signals were very good espciailly on the Kenwood. its the furthest I have ever gone with pmr radio.

If anyone is interested in having a long distance weekend I stay at the bottom of an 1800ft hill. Let me know and we can organise something.i am about 40 miles north of Edinburgh.
