RE: Tecsun desktop mediumwave loop antenna AN 200. I can't get the link as I use the eBay app on my iPhone. The company is tquchina it's $13.99 plus $12.00 pp. The sale price works out at approx £8.81. With pp it was £16.86. Alot cheaper than the £40 or so from this country under the Eton name.
I've also got radio rossii on 873. Not bad as radio norfolk uses this frequency as well from the west lynn transmitter. The first time I got AFN on 873 I was using my 750 and thought I'd got a genuine transatlantic transmission until I checked WRTH.
After reading an article on mw circle I just wanted to check one thing. When you receive your local stations at night are they still being received via groundwave propagation the same as during the day? My understanding is skywave only kicks in for distant stations that couldnt reach you via groundwave when the d layer disappears . So in effect at night the mw band propagates signals via two methods and anything that you receive via groundwave during the day cannot become skywave at night due to its close proximity?

Probably was. It was coming in very strongly last night. I usually get AFN on 873.
