Dont live in Newcastle, but im sure I read that newcastle area have moved over to the darkside.

You're not far wrong.... some have moved digital.... but some still exist.

I've scanned the above and only heard a few things now and then... but I'm a few miles outside the centre, so might not hear everything going on.

Apparently they're still in use though and are still published in RadioUser mag.

455.800 used to be heavily used... but it's one of the many silent freqs now!
