Thanks Claude.
I have sort a amazing mess in all the pictures I`ve taken,so I need to re-do some of them to organize them better.
Even if I have both a Tokyo and Jackson and I`ve yet to see picture side by side of the two radio`s. I did however expect that extra board (echo-PCB I think) in the Tokyo I bought, but it was not there.. The Tokyo I got was Taiwan R.O.C and Jackson Philipines...

Just need time to go through them will be a lot easier if I got a full power version next to me to see what's going on
Hi m8.
How much do you think is the full (best) power for the Jackson? Does both the 477 and 455 have (aprox) same output?
Eh..Its time.

MRF477/MRF455/2 x 2SC2132 ........

For me it doesn't matter H . I leave them all at 7W deadkey and 18W SSB . Sure they'll do more , but I'll rather run them a bit lower and use an amp , than risk the finals , which are expensive and getting hard to source .

Hello Sammy.
It`s around what I myself leave them at.. For the same reason as you. Its hard/expensive to find them.
I guess sometimes for "external-reasons" I`ve left dk even as low as 2W... :o

cheers
Eh..Its time.

AM/FM sounds ok , but 15W SSB seems a bit low if it's at max ?

Anyway . Glad it's working !
