I've got a new ICOM 7200, what drives me crazy is the AGC on this radio.
I think this is not a failure on my radio but rather an issue with the AGC design.
Independently from the AGC setting (fast/low) the RX is annoying you because of the burst produced by the AGC.
The only way to reduce the effect seems to act on the RF Gain so that the receiver is more calm and quiet.
Is there any mod to fix this problem? I can post a video to show the effect if that could be help..
Thanks!
