Ideas on price. FT817 with accessories

Post by WeatherWatcher »

General question really, thinking of possibly offering my FT817 for sale, complete with std mic, AA battery carrier, 2 power cables, genuine Yaesu case, Shoulder strap, NiCad Battery and Charger, the original tilt stand that clips on the front,Original VHF Antenna, and a HF antenna http://www.sandpiperaerials.com/product ... 04080mtrs/
Only change to the radio was it was opened up to include updated frequencies - changing a solder link.
Original manual mislaid but a CD rom with the /ND manual plus the service manual and anything else useful but relevant included.

It would be a shame to get rid of it but apart from listening on it I never use it.

Sensible thoughts please people.

I just sold my 817ND with several good NIHah batteries, all the bits as new, antennas manuals etc plus a hard pelicase for £300 if that helps. I've seen them offered from between £275 and £350.

Like you it was a great radio, but not a lot of use to me.

Cheers Tigersaw, gives me a ball park figure that is not unreasonable.
