Yaesu FT7900 Data Cable

Anybody tell me why yaesu ft7900 is txing when data cable inserted in rear tnx.

My guess would be that it's not the right cable...... double check it.

Welcome to TM1.

Not the same radio, but we recently had this issue with the Bumfeng radios and CHIRP, turned out to be the Chinese knock-off Prolific cables and incompatible drivers.

Mine does the same, but as long as the cable is used as noted in the instructions ie only when programming there is no problem .
