Now do,
I used to be on here, lost my account details, signed up for a new account, searched, found old account, realised it was no longer relevant and was almost a decade ago so decided to run with this one.
Keen CB'er for many years, passed AR foundation exam in 2008, the Intermediate and Full straight after in 2009. Moved from South Wales back to Grimsby in 2010. Went quiet in 2012 when my dad (a G7) passed away, got married, realised I have a sh*t load of radio and TV gear so decided to get back into it. Currently restricted to 2m/70cm at home. Have CB but looking for a suitable antenna for a small space.
Plan is to get CB & 2m back in the car. I'm also looking as SSTV & FSTV.

Hi Dave, welcome back to TM1. I was well into SSTV in the 70's, I didn't realise it was still out there, food for thought, cheers.
Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, Wearside and Tyneside are hotspots for CB so you will do well there.

Welcome back to TM1 Dave, There is still SSTV out there, though nowhere near as much as there used to be, but that comes with a diminished user base more than anything. 27.700 on 11m is still popular during the summer months.

Thanks Admiral and MrWeetabix. I'm currently in the process of sorting out a CB antenna at home. Neighbours have bellyached about a 2 element 2m aerial up so getting a vertical up is going to be impossible.
