New Firmware for AR-DV1.. Nov 2017
AR-DV1 FIRMWARE UPDATE v1710C RELEASE NOTES
The following bugs have been fixed:
- SCAN/SEARCH would often miss DMR signals when receive MODE was set to AUTO.
- DMR mode with CTCSS activated: CTCSS and color code were not displayed correctly.
- OFFSET frequency did not remain on screen after input.

The following features have been improved:
- Better audio quality when decoding voice inverted signals.
- Receiver now accepts a wider variety of SD card brands .

Mike,
I downloaded this latest update only to read that it has proven troublesome with regard to ctss issues? I haven't updated the scanner, so will hold off until there is a new update with the issues resolved. Have you any ideas if AOR are aware etc? Cheers!

Good job into finding this bug! We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Let us run some tests and fix this little problem soon. In the meantime you can conveniently revert to 1702 if 1710C is too much trouble, until we find a fix.

I've looked on the AOR website for the firmware updates, looks like there's an update ready for dv1 users.

They have fixed the CTCSS issue, but am looking to see what else they have buggered up before saying anything..

Same here. AOR have a habit of making new bugs when they fix the old ones. As my DV-1 is working well already, I'll wait until a few people have tried it first.

A wise decision Andy! I'm waiting to hear more about the recent update, to clarify if it's fit for purpose!

Tried to update the scanner. All I got was a broad line at the top left corner of the screen and zed all happens. Sd card corrupt?

Oh dear not seen that before..

It was indeed a corrupt SD card, all updated and running well!
