Has anyone any idea when AOR will bring the trunked mode operation update for tetra?

I've not heard anything about that on the aor website or other scanning/radio fora. Just keep your eyes peeled to the website for word or the aor website for firmware updates. Mike will also let us know if and I mean if that will happen.

Have a look on AOR Japan and AOR America sites, they do not even advertise that the AR-DV1 does TETRA DMO, so the chances are little to none..

Hopefully never. The easier it is to listen in, the more things go encrypted.

What is? Nobody has specified a network. There are plenty of commercial TETRA networks that are not encrypted and in some countries even the emergency services are not encrypted.

Emergency services encrypted for a good reason. But I do miss the full reception of the fire brigade and the local Taggart! But there's plenty of other things to hear that are interesting and not encrypted.

I don't have a map or list of them all, and even if I did, I probably would be unwilling to share it online.
I personally have listened in the past to one unencrypted TETRA network in the UK and I know of the existence of at least two more in this country, I have seen others speaking about unencrypted TETRA systems near them too.

I've been using my Airspy and SDRPlay to hunt out digital TRBO signals that i can use on my BCD436, i've not come across any TETRA signals aside from Airwave in the 390MHz. I've managed to find some DMR T3 on VHF and some NXDN scattered around but thats about it

There may very well be some around Manchester and the North West of England, but i've found none of them up to now.
