PDW Decoder & windows 10

Post by welshmonitor »

Hi all I have used PDW Decoder before on a windows 7 & 8 operating system without too many issues. However Im now on Windows 10 and after taking a break from radio related things for about a year im trying to get this to run again with not much luck.

I have a Uniden Bct15x with an external antenna (approx 15ft up) have got PDW running however I cant get the signal box in the top hand corner of PDW to stay above 90% therefore decoding is just not happening. Just loads of broken msgs or Unknown header msgs.

I have played around with the sound levels on my pc for a few hours but just cant get it to work correctly {bnghd}

Does anybody have any suggestions or advice on how to resolve this please??

Oh and Im not using a discriminator tap on the BCT15x although I know thats the best option, I just wish to run it throught the soundcard if possible as I have done in the past without any problems.

Thanks in advance for any advice or help guys, its much appreciated
