Writing Scan125 was, to say, interesting.
There is no published API for the scanner however some of the basic API commands are similar to the BC125AT. That was the easy bit
To do all the virtual control & display (and the UBC125XLT unique stuff) in the absence of any documentation was the interesting bit and took a lot of detective work.
To my knowledge Scan125 is the only program with full scanner control, virtual display/console etc.

Heh! I've done many a troglodyte hour with code.
Folks, the BNC lugs on my 125 are a bit worn and ants wobble a bit when attached.
A) will the BNC need replacing at some stage
B) has anyone done this before?

I've just noticed today that Butel ARC125 V2.0 now has some scanner "virtual control" support so in respect to my competition I have that Scan125 is no longer the only program to provide virtual control functions.
