i am looking for a cheapy 2Mt-70Cmt-pmr 446 radio to fit into my car am looking at a LEIXEN VV898 anybody had or know anything about this radio or know of any other cheapy radio that would do the job , do not want a handheld radio ???

I've got one, its OK for the money, nothing exceptional. Receiver is sensitive, but prone to picking up all sorts of noise.

There's some reviews here and here, and a fair few videos on Youtube.

They're a lottery in my opinion. I had one and it was very sensitive. The receive audio sounded terrible though, even with an external speaker. It sounded like a really low bit rate mp3, just really mushy and hard to listen to. I gave the radio to a friend whose VV898 bricked itself for no apparent reason.
