Marine frequencies
Does anyone have any good marine frequencies with regular voice traffic? They seem to be a bit thin on the ground.

Would you Adam and Eve it?
First time I try 2182 since reading your reply I hear something - first time ever! Unfortunately couldn't get the ssb tuned in to hear properly but did pick out mention of 2671, which turns out to be Ostend Radio, which was putting out shipping info in English and Dutch from about 20.35 GMT. Nice, clear signal. Result!

Try this Link, I work as a VTS operator in a harbour and we use ch12 as calling freq and 16 is also a calling freq as well as an emergency freq.
You'll get plenty of shipping on 12 & 16.
Ch's 12 & 16 are the most common used, you also have in Harbour working frequencies which can be ch6 or ch13.
The only frequency you won't get is Channel 0 which is the RNLI operations frequency in distress callouts.
