Whilst it would be fool-hardy to admit to using 6 mHz, I will say I can see the appeal. If you like a decent rag chew, but only have the usual IQ zeros local to you on CB, then the inter-g characteristics of the band can expand your horizons, especially if you do not have a ticket.

As many of you know, I have my ticket. Whilst a little but of 11m freebanding is easily overlooked by the authorities, I personally don't risk the EC operations, as it's not worth my ticket or my gear if I was to get busted.

Know the risks, know your sh*t, and know your limits.
