I have seen them get fairly low following the coast line last year near Scunthorpe.

Thanks for the update strat. Weather up this end of the world looks particularly rank tomorrow so it look like its a good move. Was looking forward to it though - I see they were scheduled to pass west of Haddington and as I work in Macmerry I reckon they would have been nicely visible. Shame :(

Any idea why they were up at Lossie?

OK but why bother travelling to the north of scotland just to practice?

Change of landscape for them, better weather maybe Lol .Allso may have been a nice freebie for anybody on base, they will be over Scampton instead according to the facebook page. Reds mainly use 243.450 AM.

No worries Stu! I wouldn't have seen them anyway as I'd have been stuck in my work! Would have been a good catch near Haddington! Oh well,we've always got the Armed forces day to look forward to! Looks like the phoon should fly past Edinburgh on way to Stirling,,but those in Stirling have a wee surprise in the skies! Lancaster,Hurricane and Spitfire will be there on armed forces day!! Jammy gits!!

I'm not sure if he's asked on their FB page,I'm also a forum contributor/member of Airshows.co.uk and nothing has been mentioned.I'll see what's what and get an answer one way!
