I guess Scanrem is the only one. I looked at Scancat Gold but only works up to Windows XP, load of rubbish and $99 for the programme, seems a lot steep.
I will keep searching.

I use arc8600 and/or krypto500 no issues here with win7, i have had issues with the prolific drivers though with the AOR8600, using the prolific ver 3.3.17.203 dated 29/04/2011 now with no problems.

an 8600 just went for 155 on ebay and I missed it by about 20 minutes. would have liked to have picked that puppy up for myself.
Alinco DR135DX, Baofeng UV-5R, TYT MD380 (UHF), Realistic Pro-2035, JRC NRD-545 DSP, whitestick and ½ wave silver pole on the chimney and various lengths of wire draped around the garden.

I actually bid on it myself, upto £149.99. Don't feel to bad, it was a Mark 1 and not the current Mark 2. I never realised this until AFTER the auction ended.
