Joe Delgado (J. D. Custom Electronics)
From memory Joe traded during the late 80's and designed add boards and the like.
Remember the original Hygain 5 clone bleeps ?, they where his......
If anyone has an old eighties copy of Citizen Band Magazine, Joe always ran an advert.
The radio you have there was one of his "Super" Tuned set ups i believe, based on a Cobra148/Superstar 360.
The add on board allowed super low to super Hi and the UK channels or 10m use

I do like the heatsink on a heatsink idea.
Sure to achieve 2/3 of 4/5 of FA, but hey ho, it looks good to a blind man in a fog.
I particularly like the use of countersunk wood screws to fix it in place. Quality!
