Good find and a bargain

I very nearly ordered 5 at that earlier free postage price as I thought I might try and get £20 each for 4 of them when I start car boot sales again next year. Wish I had now.

Edit - also noticed as well as now charging £9.99 for postage, the price of the aerial has gone up from the £12.99 I paid to £19.99.

I promise I hadn't had a single sip of booze at the time, but decided I wanted to spend £15.20 on one of these new-fangled, tiny Midland M-Zero Plus radios. It just looked soooo cute, I had to have it. Has its box and all its bits, so worth a look I thought.

Just bought a President Lincoln with the Chipswitch mod. It's on its way as I type. Once it's arrived I'll post some pictures. It'll be the first time I've owned a Chipswitch Lincoln, but thankfully it comes with a manual explaining all the functions.

Sounds like a crap mod. Surely a chip will be greasy and soggy and eventually fall apart. A frozen chocolate finger would be a much better way of flicking a switch in my expert opinion ;)

Good find bud!

I saw that for sale somewhere, thought it was on here from the chap in 19 Div but I've been hunting around for info on the Richard so much lately i could have seen it anywhere :-)

Always fancied one of those myself, good luck with it.

I bought myself a Colt 320 DX Black Shadow FM/LSB/USB/AM said to be fully working but I've not yet tested it.

I also got a Major M 360 AM/FM/SSB which looks like it may work too.

I paid about 20 quid for both, no microphones or cables or mounting brackets but I'll dig through my box of mics I'm bound to have a CB mic that I can use right away without having to reconfigure it. I've got a power cable that fits both radios, I just need to look for some patch leads and I've got my dummy load and power meter at hand for testing these radios.

I'm planning on doing a bit of AM/SSB CB at some point I've just got to build my antenna.

Agreed a lovely item in what looks like great condition, always wanted to complement my Colt 320 FM Black Shadow and the 485 DX Black Shadow with one of those.

Did you import from the States?

Hi guys.

Quick update. The Chipswitch Lincoln arrived yesterday and all appears to be working well. Thankfully an instruction manual covering all the Chipswitch functions was sent over by Hans. Time for a bit of lite reading...
