Buy Meanwell PS, power meter I own a few, cheaper one - Zetagi HP202 is reliable after calibration.

It kind of depends on what radio you have, if it's stock and puts 12w SSB out of the back then a 5A-7A supply should be fine, if it's one that chucks out 40w-60w then you need to be looking for a 15A-20A (yeah, you might be able to get away with a 10A, but it will struggle) PSU.

If you're local to the Bristol/North Somerset border, then I've got a decent 5-7amp power supply you can have for free. I'm not willing to post it however, plus the postage would probably cost as much as it's worth ;)

Thanks for the offer collector, i am a little far away nip over. I think i will get a 20 amp plus in case i decide on and amp. Does anyone make a decent swr power meter, with a built in frequency counter. Then at least theres only one patch lead.
