I thought the Grant II and Lincoln II in un-modded format were legal, I'm sure there are more. Maybe the ver 2 or above of those radio come to think of it.

As soon as you start the open up cut a wire, move a jumper etc. etc. along with software mod via secret menus the legal goes out the window.
Can't help but love an Adams.

Surely any of the french type approved old ssb rigs if unmodified should be ok? So original french grant, jackson etc in unmodified 40ch format should be ok?

As I posted earlier up the page, this link gives info on what the radio must conform to. If it doesn't, it aint legal.
So long as the radio is approved to the various european standards, it should be ok to use. As also suggested on this thread, any tinkering, expanding etc. will of course make them illegal.

Also provides the list of known type approved radios sold in the UK at the time of publishing.

I have an Albrecht AE7500 (looks like the Magnum Deltaforce). These are "legal" sets of unmodified covering the UK40 on FM mode only and all modes on the CEPT band.

Very good radio's too I might add and pretty scarce.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...
